When I saw this perfectly symmetrical stamp set, I knew I would own it! I loved the crisp lines and oh so perfect little leaves that were already paired together to make a perfect little image. I envisioned the different ways I would perfectly line these little flowers up and how I would add 2 leaves or 3 and how I would use the coordinating punch to expose a solid layer of card stock. I'm serious! I thought about this set so much before it actually arrived, I didn't hesitate to jump in and put it to use as soon as I received it. This is the first card I made with it.
Look how crisp those lines are! It is such a clean stamp that it almost doesn't look like I stamped it! That is the beauty of Stampin' Up! Their quality is second to none, and if something does sneak by that doesn't meet their quality standards, they make it right! No joke.
I made this card using Night of Navy and Flirty Flamingo ink first because I didn't do what I always tell my customers to do when it comes to placing an order, "Pick your favorite DSP then make sure you have the ink and cards stock to match." Well, I was actually rewarded this suite from my upline, Lori Pinto, for advancing to Silver status, so I didn't check to make sure I had the ink colors and card stock and found that I actually didn't have Just Jade ink which is one of the colors used throughout this DSP. So, I made another card using the same Night of Navy and Flirty Flamingo ink adding in Bumble Bee.
I didn't realize it until I finished the card that the DSP I used was actually Calypso Coral and that it didn't have a bit of Bumble Bee color in it. I was bummed, but not for long. I texted my neighbor and good friend, Lisa Brown, and asked if she had a Just Jade ink pad, and she did and she even brought it to me. I love her, and she saved the day. I just wasn't finished playing with this stamp set and beautiful DSP. I set out to make the three flowers card again using the right colors and the right DSP.
While I still had her ink pad, I made one more using Calypso Coral ink with the Just Jade stems. The DSP I paired it with is gorgeous! This might be my favorite one of the 4. Which is your favorite?
I haven't seen many demonstrators using this particular stamp set or DSP, but I just love it. I will be ordering some Just Jade ink for sure, so I can make many more of these pretty, perfectly symmetrical cards!
The supplies I used are listed below and if you don't have a demonstrator, I'd love to be yours! Check out my BOGO offer under "Gift With Purchase" from my menu at the top of the home page, and consider this Suite for yourself!
Take care and happy crafting!
