Sweet as a Peach

I have to say when I first saw the "You're a Peach" suite, it wasn't on my A-list. When I went through the catalog again for about the third time, I paid close attention to the sentiments of each stamp set I had considered. I loved the Happy Birthday font in the Sweet as a Peach stamp set. Then I saw that the adorable little jars were part of the suite and compared to some of the other suites, this one was oh so affordable! I thought $57 was a great value for the Designer Series Paper, the stamp set, the dies and the 6 jars. So, I bought it and couldn't wait to see what I could come up with using the beautiful DSP. I loved the DSP with the Balmy Blue background!

I used ribbon to separate the two different DSP's on my first card but then decided I liked the little strip of DSP in place of the ribbon. It just so happened my team was doing a card swap, so I made this particular card 5 times for the card swap using my Stamparatus. I took the opportunity to make a video of how to use the two doors of the Stamparatus to mass produce and shared it with a small private Facebook group I started for my customers and team members. Most of us are relatively new to the stamping and card making world, and it's nice to be able to post our creations in a no judgment zone.

The next card I made was a birthday card for a co-worker. It was the perfect opportunity to use the sentiment that drew me in. I used the Color and Contour dies to crop my layers of card stock and DSP for the outside of the card. If you don't have those dies, I strongly recommend you get that set on your very next order! I use them on almost every card these days. I made one too many sentiments for my card share on the card above, so I decided to use a piece of DSP and the extra sentiment on the inside of this card. Love it when something like that happens, and it all comes together.

Most of the supplies I used for these two cards are listed below. You can click on any of them and order right from my online store. I have a BOGO event going on too, and for every $25 you spend at my online store, you can choose one of my gently used stamp sets or bundles for free. I will ship it to you free of charge too. You can find my BOGO items by clicking on "Gift With Purchase" the top of my home page. Simply shoot me an email at kdtravis@charter.net after you order and tell me which item you would like for free.

Hope you are enjoying our new catalog as much as I am! If you don't have our new catalog and would like for me to be your demonstrator, just email me and I'll send you a catalog and help you in any way I can.

Take care and happy crafting!
