Sending Smiles

Writer's picture: Kim WebbKim Webb

I have never been big on word dies, but the new Sending Smiles bundle has made a believer out of me! I'm just so happy every time I use this big, bold sentiment accompanied by the little phrases that go along with it.

The stamp set offers 8 sentiments that complete the sentence beginning with Sending - like Sending Smiles Across The Miles, Sending Love & Big Hugs. And...you can use a masking technique that converts these 8 sentiments to make more sentiments. For example, take Sending Smiles Across The Miles and just make it Sending Smiles! A perfect name for this happy set.

Here, I've paired this bundle with the Tea Boutique Cards and Envelopes on page 137 of the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog, and the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper. It's a fabulous combination and makes for some really simple and quick cards. Not to mention the great value - 20 colorful card bases and matching decorative envelopes for just $10! That's less than $3 a card even when you factor in the beautiful DSP.

The Sending Smiles stamp set also has some really cute floral images that just go right along with the happy DSP and card bases.

We learned a clever technique at the Stampin' Up! On Tour event held virtually recently using the word Sending detailed die and shadow die. I tried it tonight to see if I could remember it well enough to share in a video, and I believe I have it figured out. Subscribe to my blog and newsletter so you will be notified when I post the video about this time-saving technique.

Visit my website and check out my stamps and bundles for sale or free with a purchase from my online Stampin' Up! store. While you're there, see if my May Club Card Kits interest you. They are also a great value because I send you around $20 worth of Stampin' Up! products along with 8 card kits ready for you to assemble and send. You can read more about it here.

Happy crafting!
