A Peaceful Place Here

What a very fitting name for this beautiful Suite of products! I actually didn't intend to purchase this set, because I though it looked too complicated. On the first day demonstrators were able to place a preorder, I texted my neighbor, Lisa (who is also a friend and team member), and struck a deal with her. I bargained that if she would order the Peaceful Place Suite, I would order the Whimsy & Wonder Suite, and we could switch off. She's about the nicest person I know, so she agreed. We love to show each other what we get when the UPS man pays us a visit, so she brought me this suite of products to use before she even used it herself. Now, that's a great friend! Here is my favorite card that I came up with.

This bundle is really very simple to use. I started with a 5 1/4 x 4" embossed layer using the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder. I typed up a rough draft of the steps I took in making a single layer scene like in my first card, and then a multi-layer scene, like in my second card. You can download them by clicking the "Instructions for Cabin Dies" at the bottom of this post.

The greeting, "sending love," in that beautiful script is a stamp from the Heartfelt Wishes stamp set. I've used several of these beautiful sentiments for Christmas Cards, but this particular card would make a beautiful, heartfelt sympathy card as well.

Here is the multi-layer card I made. While this one is only 2 layers of the die cuts, there is potential for 3 or more layers. I explain that in the instructions you can download.

That's all I made using my neighbor's new bundle. I felt guilty and wanted to get it back to her ASAP!

I just marveled at how beautiful the paper was that went with the suite, and needless to say, I quickly added a pack of it and the bundle to my next preorder! Once the paper arrived, I set out to create some cards for my online classes and for my in-person class happening August 22. If you love these next cards (and trust me, the pictures do not do this silver foil embossed paper any justice), consider purchasing my online class featuring this paper. I actually have 3 online classes set up right now using 3 different sets from the new July-December Mini Catalog 2021. Check out my online classes here. Each class has 6 card kits (2 cards each of 3 designs) If you bought all three classes, that would be 18 cards you could have in a snap, should you get in a pickle making your holiday cards. The pictures here are from the Peaceful Place Class.

Thanks for checking out my blog, and I hope I've inspired you today! Check out my website at www.justpaperllc.com and click on Online Classes in the top menu. Once you're there, click each picture to see all three designs that are in each class.

Take care,

Kim
