A Gatefold Card With Flair

This is one of those easy cards to make that carries a bit of a WOW factor simply due to a couple of folds along the way. I started with an 5 1/2 x 11 inch piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock for the base and scored then folded it to create a double gate fold. I added two different complimentary patterns from the Flowers for Every Season DSP to decorate the panels. I then stamped a pretty image from the Basket of Blooms stamp set and colored it with Blends markers in coordinating colors. I cropped the image out using a die from the Layered Circles set.

All that was left to do was make the belly band by cutting a one inch piece of coordinating cardstock from the 2020-2022 In Color collection. And that was it! I thought it was very pretty, and I am looking forward to making several more cards using this double gate fold pattern.

I loved using the Basket of Blooms stamp set that I won at our monthly team meeting this month too. We have a great team, and if you'd like to know how you could join our team, I'd be happy to tell you more about that. Just contact me through my website under "Contact Me."

Here is another card I made from the same stamp set.

Kim, I love this beautiful gatefold card. The DSP and the pretty flowerpot on the belly band really make it pop. The yellow card is very pretty, too. Enjoy your day!
